Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Otto ID, operated by Ottospace, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

1. Account

  • You must be at least 14 years old (16 in the EEA where required) to register.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
  • One account per person; you may operate multiple profiles within a single account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post unlawful, harassing, or infringing content.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages or run schemes to defraud customers.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or extract data not made public.
  • Resell or relabel the Service without a written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Payments

  • Creator payouts are processed by Stripe Connect. The platform fee defaults to 5% of gross transaction value and is disclosed at checkout. Crypto payments are settled via NOWPayments.
  • Refunds are between you (the creator) and your customer, subject to the original payment processor’s rules.
  • Taxes are your responsibility; Stripe Tax may compute and collect on your behalf if you enable it.

4. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you upload (profiles, posts, products, etc.). You grant us a limited license to host and display it as part of operating the Service.

5. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of the District of Montreal, unless local mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
